Congratulations to the best team in Region 5A! Much better than people give them credit. Have good size and an experienced team. Would expect them to take care of a good young Collinwood team to reach State.

Feels great to be a warrior tonight. This is the first Regional Championship in the schools history. This group of seniors really deserve it after putting up with Malcolm and Martin for 2 years. Lol Also, our sixth man ended up playing and playing well. Collinwood is a good team and we better come ready to play. Congrats to MTCS on making this far as well.

McEwen wins the championship game. Very solid team. The pg was a huge factor in the game. McEwen's big men got the job done inside as well. Cougars never really got it going. Credit a good defensive plan by McEwen.
