Squeezed out is one way to put it. I heard Ooltewah was down 1-0 with 4 minutes to go and equalized on a PK hand-ball. Must have been exciting.

We seem to find a way to win.

 

Coffee County's pack it back strategy was sure working for them. I'm just glad that the Owl's are moving on.

What is the OT format this year?

We did the two ten minute overtimes and that resolved ours. What comes after that if it is still tied? Ten minutes sudden deaths or just PK's?

Unless they have changed something, it goes like this:

 

two 10 minute halves.

two 5 minute "golden goal" halves

1 - 2 10 minute periods, played in entirety

2 - 2 5 minute sudden death (or golden goal) periods, goal ends game

3 - Penalty Kick Shootout (5 per team)

4 - PK Shootout continues (in sudden death fashion)
