Now that the season has been completed, who should be named all state in AAA?

There are a lot of deserving players this year. Here is a just a few possible names, in no certain order or position.

I'm sure I've left out several deserving players, especially from Middle and West Tennesee, so please add suggestions.

Andrew Kenneson-Science Hill

Caleb Lucas-Maryville

Ryan Odum-Hendersonville

Andres Munoz-Ooltewah

John David Anthony-Riverdale

Sergei Wallace-Tennessee High

Tim Baker-Knox Catholic

Miles Christian-Bradley Central

TJ Carter-Science Hill

Dalton Guzman-Hardin Valley

Seth Gulier-Riverdale

Sean McLain-Ooltewah

Brent Lesnick-Collierville

Daniel Martinez-John Overton

Wilfred Williams-Science Hill

Bijan Gloston-Clarksville

It would be hard for Dalton Guzman to make Allstate in 2012, considering he didn't play. He graduated early From Hardin Valley and enrolled at ETSU in January. Also, I may be wrong, but I don't think TJ Carter played for Science Hill. I think he was ineligible. In my opinion, from Knoxville that should be considered for AAA Allstate:

1. Tim Baker, Catholic

2. Caleb Lucas, Maryville

3. Andrew Fulcher, James Ferguson, Bearden

4. Marvin Mendy, Scott Dresden Farragut.

5. Brandon Roy, Jonathan Pearlman Hardin Valley.

Food for thought...

West won the East/West THSSCA game tonight 2-1. I know there's been a lot of thought about the West districts not matching up to the DOD and the East, but they apparently did well tonight.

Not sure who scored for the West, but Caleb Lucas scored the only goal for the East.

Btw...my opinion on All-State:

Caleb Lucas, Maryville

Tim Baker, Catholic

James Ferguson, Bearden

Tyler Rhone, Farragut

Andrew Jones, West

And...NUMEROUS players from Dobyns Bennett

Back when I was in school word got out I was going to transfer and Coach Story popped off and ask Coach Wilson in front of the team if Maryville was going to get a jock strap in return on this trade. That got back to me and I got fired up and stayed just to show them up. Now today Coach Story is one of my best friends.
    • Dylan's Dad, I'm glad you replied. I wanted to reply but wasnt willing to take the bait. There were 20 wrestlers on the team. I may be mistaken and correct me if I'm wrong but I believe 5 of the 20 attend McCallie right now and one will next year. At most, there are/were 6 kids on that team who attend McC. That leaves 14 other team members who have ZERO affiliation with McC (outside of maybe some friends) who represented our state to the best of their ability and wrestled their butts off that weekend. That weekend was a first for Tennessee and obviously a small step in the right direction for us as a state. Congratulations TEAM TN BLACK!
