The 'Boro Bombers 2000 girls fastpitch softball team is preparing to hold tryouts for the fall 2012 and spring 2013 seasons. Specific dates have not been set as of yet, but should be within the next couple of weeks. After a very successful summer season we are looking to add to our 12U roster with pitchers, catchers, infielders, and utility players for the upcoming seasons. 'BB2K has a solid group of dedicated coaches, players, and parents and are a looking for additional parents and players that want to compete at a high level. Based out of Murfreesboro, TN 'BB2K is looking to play every other weekend through the fall season and will play almost all of our tournaments within one hour or so drive from Nashville. 'BB2K is looking for only 2000 or strong 2001 birthdays.

BB2K's team style will be comprised of speed, athleticism, power hitters, slappers, strong arms, and an outstanding work ethic with a desire to win. Our goal is to teach, train, and motivate young ladies in the game of fastpitch softball at the highest level while creating strong leadership skills and respect for the game and our opponents.

    • Maybe some of the historians can get on here and help me out, but has anybody from Tennessee ever had as much success in an international style as Boykin? The only other Tennessee native I can remember competing for world team spots is the older Boykin in freestyle and he wasn't nearly as close as Nick has been to making world teams.
    • Whoever gets the job will have some opportunities to compete year end and year out. The sophomore class has some talent and the middle school has some good athletes coming thru. If the right coach comes thru he can build a winning program.
