If a student athlete breaks team rules and the consequence is worthy of being dismissed from the team, then she should have been dismissed. I agree with TrickyD, she would still have looks if she was good enough. This will set a precedent that will ruin high school sports if she wins this.
I don’t know what the kid is doing NOW. But he most certainly had a terrible back injury. He went into surgery. I promise you nobody is paying for a back surgery for no reason.
If your not a West, then dogs fly. Listen, you don't have to sit here and lie. Nobody in hartsville would ever take up for a kid that quit on his team mid season(said it was a back issue)and then move to Macon county and begin immediately working out.
Who's going to pay them?
In my opinion coaches need to be in the school to interact with the kids/players. They need to be there to help encourage and intervene when it is necessary. Coaches need to have access to players attendance, grades, and discipline records.
Coaches are a huge influence on players.
