I think Moore county is a hard working determined team to win the region.... If moore county wins Friday south Pitt and gordonsville will play 2nd round which will increase the chances for mc to play for the state.... Go Raiders

No it won't.

You'll have to play the winner in the quarterfinals and Moore will not get past that.

the only thing that the raiders are thinking about this week is forrestt. a win this weeks gives a very "young" moore county team a 10-0 record and a region championship.

They have three returning seniors that played alot last season. The other six players are first year starters or help on special teams. The seniors are the glue and have made this team better with their attiutude and work ethic. their strength is that they have played the whole season one game at a time and who they play in the playoffs is the least of their worries. with 16 seniors graduating last year no one expected anything from this team this season and they have put together a nice run so far...they have never suggested that they are any where close to the powers that gordonsville, south pitt and greenback...they just want to get better each week

I think MC wins. #11 & #20 are about as good as you can ask for in 1A ball. They can make an average joe look pretty good. Not sure chapel hill being 2A makes much difference in the out come. If classification is that big of a deal then why play Warren Co. ?

I am not real sure not having alot of seniors means much either. The district really isn't that strong this year, but wins are wins.

 

The one thing about MC kids is they are coachable regardless of ability. I will give credit it were it's due. 3 out of the last 5 coaches had better teams and couldn't win.

Moore Co should win this one. They have a very good QB who is not real fast but he is quick and I'll take quick over fast anytime. Forrest stacked the box against Cascade last week and stopped run but left the pass wide open. I think MC's QB can take advantage of that. A couple of pass completions and a sweep or two and Forrest's defense will fall apart.
