Fridays semifinals:

4:00 Creek Wood v. Stewart Co. girls

5:30 Cheatham co. v. Harpeth boys

7:00 Cheatham co. v. Camden girls

8:30 Waverly v. Creek Wood boys

 

Congrats to Harpeth on advancing to the Region Tournament for another year. Friday's semifinals will be very intense.

Does anyone think Harpeth or Creek Wood has a chance or should

we just start talking finals. Both teams were swept in regular season

with little resistance.Harpeth/Cheatham game could be close since

its a rivalry game. Cheatham is just too good in the end though.Waverly

should not have to use too much energy on Creek Wood.This should

help Waverly in the finals if semi game is somewhat easy.Waverly/

Cheatham will be worth price of admission.District should have good

chance to make some noise in regions.Waverly and Cheatham should

represent well,with Harpeth and Creek Wood also being competitive.

Waverly will have to play very good to win, Creekwood is no slouch. Cheatham and Waverly both had tough games against them this year. Cheatham and Harpeth I do not expect to be as close.

I think I just herd that creek wood just beat waverly in ot can some one let me know if I herd right. If so congrats to creek wood they have a really good group of guys and deserve it.

The Cubs survive a barrage of threes to beat Harpeth for a third time this season. The Cubs are now 5-1 vs Harpeth in the last 6 meetings between the county's oldest rivals.

 

Creek Wood shocks Waverly in overtime tonight.

I said Bill Craig Gymnasium is a nightmare for some teams. Waverly has scored in the 60s both games this week. They have scored in the 80s and 90s this year. Without their offensive firepower Waverly has been exposed. If Harpeth shoots well again tomorrow they may beat Waverly tomorrow night. That would send Waverly to Giles County in the region tourney opener. Yikes!

Giles and Spring Hill won. Big game as the loser will probably host Waverly. Fairview-Summit winner will have a decent shot at Creekwood.

The Cubs will be taking home 2 titles today.

I made the trip down to Stewart County last night and watched some really good basketball. Every time Harpeth scored Cheatham answered right back and ended up winning by about 12 I think. Creekwood beat Waverly 71-63 in OT. Rollie Plunkett played real good for Creekwood and ended up having 26 points. I'm making the trip back to Stewart County tonight to watch the championship game between Cheatham County and Creekwood, which should be a really good game.

Where will the region tournament be held at?
