AllRegion
I know that it's a little early for this thread with the playoffs for the 2012 season still underway, but I wanted to get everyone's thoughts on who will be the favorites in 2A/1A for 2013 before everyone either heads to the basketball forums or goes into hibernation for the winter So let's hear it! Who returns a lot and will be strong again? Who are some surprise teams to be on the lookout for? Here is my list...comments, discussion, and critiques are always welcome! 2A Goodpasture Grace Christian Adamsville Mitchell Boyd-Buchanan Dresden Huntingdon Peabody Trousdale County Westwood Oneida 1A South Pittsburg Union City Greenback Gordonsville Jo Byrns Collinwood Wayne County Coalfield Humboldt Moore County Edited November 7, 2012 by AllRegion

MOTO24
There's a good chance JB hovers in the top 10 next year...they lose 4 senior starters.

BahamaMama
CA will definitely be in the mix for IA next season.
youthsportsPIX
The Nashville Christian Eagles have quietly built a 23 & 9 record over the last 3 season under Jeff Brothers. With 3 of the nine loses to West Nashville rival 5A Hillwood, 2 of the loses to Jo Bryns in the Dungeon, 1 lose in second round playoffs last year in Gordonsville and 1 lose to 3A Harpeth. Nashville Christian has a long way to go and must advance deep into playoff this year to get any attention to be on anyone radar. The Eagles have a lot of young athletes who played a bunch this year. They may surprise some teams next year. http://nashvillechristiansports.com/
BahamaMama
Stealing from youthsportsPIX above, Clarksville Academy also has a lot of young athletes who not only played a bunch this year but started as well. With that said, CA may continue to surprise some teams next year especially with the stellar coaching staff and several skill position players returning. AllRegion
I figured with Trousdale being a little down this year that they would be back for next year...are there some lean years in Hartsville or do you just not like the Jackets? TCVeritas
He just does not like the jackets. We started seven soph this year and two jrs. I would say we will be ok next season
