Turn-Around Season / from bad (2011) to great (2012)

Here are the some teams to ponder from being real bad (2011) to real good (2012) in no particular order.

 

1A - Collinwood - 2011 - 1 win 9 losses - 2012 - 9 wins 2 losses

2A - Marion County - 2011 - 1 win 9 losses - 2012 - 9 wins 2 losses

4A - Trezevant - 2011 - 5 wins 5 losses - 2012 - 10 wins 2 losses

5A - Tennessee - 2011 - 5 wins 5 losses - 2012 - 8 wins 4 losses

5A - Jackson Northside - 2 wins 8 losses - 2012 - 12 wins 0 losses

 

My criteria for choosing these teams was all are still playing this Friday night in the quarter-finals after not qualifying for the playoffs last season.

According to this Nashville Christian was 5 and 7 last year.

Its been amazing watching Collinwood turn around. Greenman said these young men really took last year personally. He wasn't lying. I didn't see every game last year but was impressed with how the coaches kept those boys playing hard even though half the starters were injured for most of the year.Great job Trojans.

Cloudland didn't make the qtr finals but they went 1-9 in 2011 and missed the playoffs. In 2012 they are 8-4 losing to Coalfield in the second round. Pretty good bounce back season

Glad to see Marion playing playoff football again!

Copper Basin went from 3-7 to 8-4 and went to the second round. Pretty good turn around. Marion County sticks out as well. Only one win I believe last year and now in the quarterfinals.
