wildcat89
Not true Mirrorthief, it takes an entire team effort to be successful. #7 will be the first to tell anyone without his teammates, he wouldn't have the season he's having. So it's fair to say that no one person can carry an entire# team. Go eagles!!!! I will agree that it takes more than one player. Nc did have some good blocks at the line and downfield. youthsportsPIX
Ncs would be nothing without no 7...he is the entire offense Kinda like #8 is to Collinwood. #7 was approx 60% of NCS offense and from the passing and rushing stats I have seen #8 is upward to 85% of the Trojan offense. Just sayaing...
TheMirrorThief
sorry, booker does it all for NCS...they prob would have three or four wins without him Collinwood had a great runner but he went down early in the season. They lost another running back last week and I believe Ben Regan went down or got ejected in the NCS game cause he wasn't out there in the second half.... if Booker is a senior, that doesn't bode well for NCS next year Montgomery is a junior btw Edited November 18, 2012 by TheMirrorThief

Defensive side is another story, the trojans would have been better with Montgomery on the sidelines instead of at safety. His bread and butter is on offense. Now I'm not saying he's replaceable (far from it), but I'd bet there's another 8-9 win season coming next year. You only saw a part of our arsenal because that part was working. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. There were a few games this year where Booker was not our leading rusher. The QB and a freshman RB both had more in one game alone. Can't wait to see where your #8 ends up on Saturdays. That kid has "big time" written all over him,

youthsportsPIX
Beating Collinwood was a big win for the Eagles and time to move on and this is last post on this subject. Hopefully the Eagles will get see #8 and the Trojans again next year. We lose #7 but the Eagles may be stronger next year than this year. It will be hard to replace the best RB Nashville Christian has ever had for sure, but there are many young players who will learn from this tough playoff run and win or loose in Huntingdon, the Eagle will be even better next year for it. macattack
When the ref threw the flag on the kickoff and tagged cwood with a sideline penalty without a warning i knew it would be a poorly called game. No excuses, refs stunk the game up especially that td waived off n the 4th qtr. NCS won and will play Friday night good luck eagles. Btw no one from CW has ever complained bout refs, RIGHT!
