Coach Bland is a very good friend on mine and of our family. Coach Gaddis and Coach Bland go way, way back. Coach Bland does not have to coach anymore. He does so because he loves it. Coach Bland has helped a lot of folks over the years.

Dadgum right...this fan is still real mad about it!Landry WAS Dallas football...more than Jerry will ever be.A classier man,nevermind coach,never lived,and the shotgun offense/flex (nickel) defense will endure long after Jerry's legacy has faded out.Money will buy the dog...it don't make you his master.

Sounds gutless to me, like maybe they wanted junior but if junior did not want the head job then bland would stay in place, that is why rumors got out, they were making sure that they had their guy before they fired their guy. That my friends is the good ole boy way. If you dont like bland fire him, then go find you a coach, dont go find a coach, then fire him, obviously junior was talked to about taking the job before Bland was told he was fired. Look what Tennessee did, fired Fulmer averaging 9 wins a season with a national title, fired him and have not won 9 games since, idiots.

Reid was not the only coach "talked to" behind Bland's back.This is being portrayed as Reid is the "golden boy" and the torch is being passed down by the administration...not so.I've no idea how many were contacted,or for how long this went before the "secret" was leaked back to Bland and he confronted them,but It wasn't a short time.Probably should have kept my "mouth" shut,but it sticks in my craw for this situation to be spun to look better than it was...no matter how bad that looked,it's actually worse.       Im sure Nick Saban didnt have the final say at Alabama! That was not one of your brightest statements. How can you be that uneducated about football and blog about football? Its fair to name people who get arrested, its part of the consequences of their dumb mistakes as adults. You talk mess about the satterfields for way less. Are you that guys lawyer? I have never seen somebody defend someone so hard for something that could have been catastrophic.
