Bearden Beats Memphis Central

 

Science Hill Beats Bradley

 

Memphis Overton Beats Antioch

I heard Bradley was really physical with a young Blackman team until the refs had no choice but to call the tecs on the post player it will be interesting to see how they do against a more experienced Science Hill team, I expect Memphis Central to beat Bearden and Memphis Overton over Antioch and a final of Riverdale and Overton where anything can happen with two atheletic teams.

Memphis Central may just win it all, they played like they were on a whole different level against Bearden. 62-43 Memphis Central, wow!

After watching the AAA games today, I think this is the weakest group that has been at the state tournament in years. Unless someone turns it up and on in the next few days, I predict Riverdale will walk away with the title without breaking a sweat. They are the only team with five players contributing on both ends of the court.

The only AAA game I saw was the last one. Antioch and Mem Overton. They were not very good, either team. Science Hill will breeze.

Yeah, that last AAA game was close, but not because they were both good...I think Central COULD give Riverdale a game. Davis will have to go off though. And that press is something else!

Saw where Riverdale is ranked number one in the country. Good to see a local team with that kind of success and recognition.

I think Central will keep it close, and Davis will show us why Baylor wanted her. This actually may be a really good game.

 

It would be a pretty big upset for Riverdale to lose, though. I love upsets!

I think the AA and A teams are evenly matched this year. There isn't much difference in these two classifications especially the final four teams. Riverdale is head and shoulders above everyone and Science Hill isn't far behind. I was unimpressed with Memphis Overton though.
