ucbballwatcher
Now that everyone's season is over, will there be any coaching changes around the Upper Cumberland area? Anyone moving to another school or stepping down? I've heard some rumblings about a 8aa school or two and nothing on 7a.

dctiger
I think the rumor that Martin was leaving DeKalb was just that: a rumor. Nothing else has been said about it. As for Melton leaving SC, wow. That would be a huge blow to the program. Does anyone have any info on whether its true or not?

As does the powerhouse program of the State Champion Lady Blue Devils of Jackson County. The premier girls program in the Upper Cumberland. DC10
I think the rumor that Martin was leaving DeKalb was just that: a rumor. Nothing else has been said about it. As for Melton leaving SC, wow. That would be a huge blow to the program. Does anyone have any info on whether its true or not? I'm convinced it's just a rumor now as well. In the local paper, they interviewed Coach Martim and he talked about returning players and gave a little insight on next year returning players and what not. Can't remember everything I read in the paper. I think it's just a rumor as well.

ucbballwatcher
I had heard that Melton was interested in Pickett, and that they were also interested in someone who's name I can't recall but I think they still have Moons. I also heard that Flynn was retiring. Don't know how much truth there is to any of it.
