TCA defeats Memphis Sheffield

Outstanding Soccer game. Hats off to a fine Sheffield team. They were great sports and very skilled. Score was 0-0 until 3 mins left and TCA scored twice. Sheffield players handled themselves very professionally and acted like fine young men. We wish all of them the best in Life. TCA has another very tough challenge against Kingsbury at TCA. Great job by TCa's defense lead by Jumior Kirk Walls and Senior William Hall. Congrats to Junior Tyler Thomason on his goal and Freshman Eli Parker on his goal. Very, very fun team to watch.

Very good game!! I thought both teams were pretty evenly matched but TCA has a really good soccer team considering how young their team is!! I wish all fields could be as nice as TCA's!! Sheffield showed great sportsmanship! I'm eager to see the kingsbury- tca region final match!!

Yes, TCA's soccer field is the best in West Tennessee. It's immaculate. We just need lights! Any donors out there? Lol. I do anticipate a great game Thursday. TCA is young but they have quite a bit of experience. The entire sports program has rocked this year: football 2nd round of state playoffs, basketball- Substate, soccer- worst case scenario- Substate. Interesting that a lot of same athletes play at least two of those sports mentioned. TCA has a phenomenal freshman and sophomore class of athletes with some solid juniors and seniors!
