How do you think Copper Basin will do in 2013?

Lost some good talent from last year. Breaking in a new QB will be tough. None coming in with varsity experienced. Running back Denzel Brown will be relied on heavily. I'm not as familiar with this team as usual so I can't make much predictions, but I would say 5-5 to 6-4 are possible finishes. 7-3 with an upset maybe. The 4 losses I can think of are Coalfield, Silverdale, Marion County and Boyd. Gonna try to get to some games this year unlike last year so hopefully I can get some more insight. Go Cougars

I think you are spot on with the four losses. 6-4 would be a good season with that schedule. Replacing Boggs will be difficult on both sides of the ball. He was a beast.

Didn't you play at Maryville College last year? Are you playing thus year? (Maybe I have you mixed up with another CB fan).

    • Yeah, you might be right. We will see what happens. Should be interesting.
    • None taken ever. I just gotta believe that AC started the fire on this. Small towns talk clinton is a small town. They may have not been the official one to put ink to paper but I am sure they are the ones moving the pieces here.
    • No offense intended,  but I will take the word of an actual administrator in that system on that question.
    • My guess is, this has absolutely nothing to do with athletics. I could be completely wrong. Just going to let this play out over the next few days/weeks before throwing accusations around. Funny how when OR benefits from “transfers” it is because of the incredible school system and never for athletics because most people can’t afford the “tuition”! Going to be interesting to say the least.    And if AC is turning anybody in, shame on them. They have benefited and work the system more than most over the years.
    • I think if either were their own school system then it wouldn't have happened. Of course a lot will make sense if they student who got their grades changed was an athlete
