CTeam, I never heard back from you and the UT conclusion....

Pujo, we murdered ourselves for sure....I'm betting coach took care of that this week

Gonna schedule it a little later in the year. From the conversation I had there's not a lot we could do right now other than some fertilizer for the the fall/ winter. Supposed to be getting that info next week. When the season starts winding down there's some stuff we can do but the spring is when we'll hit it hard. I do need to go by and get a soil sample. I'll do that this weekend. I won't dig a hole in the middle of the field... I promise!!!

Games like this is what makes high school football so great!

I can't root against pugo's boys or crow's boys..2 of my favorite posters on the T!

So I'll just say best of luck to both teams...may both teams play to their best ability and leave it all on the field! Here's to an injury free game! Good Luck yall!

Thanks Southtower, Crow is a good one for sure. Oneida  is my kind of football. They love their football and usually put a quality team on the field.

Best of luck to y'all as well, don't know if we will beat the dogs tonight or not. I believe we are capable but I also believe if we don't shore up last weeks mistakes they're definitely capable of hurtin' our feelings as well. As long as it's a clean, hard fought, & tremendous effort kind of game, the score board will be what it is. I won't worry much about the numbers on it. This is a game that is gonna make both teams grow up & improve. We're both in need of a little of both. Oneida & Hampton are once again very similar. A lot of youth, even more inexperience, & a ton of potential. This may be an early preview of a real match up in a year or two. If both come along like I think they will that future game will get a lot of attention.

Yep, this could get big in a year or 2.

    • Quick update on Jacob -  Jacob celebrated his 16th birthday at Vanderbilt on Tuesday and has been in decent spirits.  His sense of humor has begun to show as he was visited by many friends.  He is swallowing a lot better now and has eaten some of his favorites (Chik-Fil-A and Five Guys).   He is getting prepared to head to Atlanta to the Shepherd Center first thing tomorrow morning.  His family has been waiting on insurance approval. In case you dont know the Shepherd Center it a world class facility and supposedly one of the best in the country for spinal injury rehab.  Praying for perfect results there. Considering the circumstances, Jacob is in decent spirits.  He has some reflexive movement in his legs which I think is probably a very positive sign.  Don't read too much into that just yet as there is no telling what the real prognosis is... just hopeful that is good thing.  I am really just happy that it seems like he has a punchers chance of getting something back.  He is a strong young man and very determined so I think he will fight as hard as he can in physical therapy while down in Atlanta. More than one of you has asked me about an address to send donations.  I know GoFundMe isn't for everyone.  If you want to go that route, you can make a check to "Blackman Wrestling Club" and we will pass anything received directly to the Kinderdines.   Jacob Kinderdine c/o Blackman Wrestling 4836 Trevino Court Murfreesboro, TN  37128 Also, want to thank everyone who has donated so far.  Jacobs dad will take a month off work and stay in Atlanta with him.  They need to learn how to take care of him and do home therapy work..... and surely Jacob will be glad his dad can be there.  All that could not happen without you all.  Depending on what happens, they will probably end up doing some home remodeling in order to accommodate Jacob at their home.  Thanks again. Here's a pic I lifted from Facebook of Jacob on Oxy talking to his Uncle.  LOL

    • Science Hill has had a lot of athletes over the years as well.     I totally agree with you
    • You do know that on a young, down season we only lost to Dyersburg in the playoffs by less than a touchdown?! You act like those two teams are unbeatable and way above our skill level
