On here for the first time in a long time. Things haven't changed much. Some of you guys are troopers. Seriously, why do you bother?

Hoping folks like you will come back so we can discuss football with grown-ups again. I've said it before, the BA posters were my favorite posters here. They were insightful, articulate, classy when they lost, and gracious when they won.

I enjoyed it too. I just don't follow it closely enough anymore to have an informed opinion. ...not that said state of mind stops many from posting!

 

BTW, my wife and I had the pleasure of speaking to the entire MBA student body a couple of weeks ago. Very impressed with the facility as well as the young men attending.

BA's combination of athletes and football history will present Ensworth with a challenge but I still feel that Ensworth is a better team and takes the win.  Best of luck to both.

Everyone hates those that the Envy or Respect. 

Nothing on this forum will change the outcome of any game. 
Every year there is always a player everyone "hates" at Ensworth.  
'09 - Tavarres Jefferson and Darkwa
'10 - Darkwa and Richardson 
'11 - Corn and Batey

'12 - Corn and Ferby (D-line as well)

'13 - Ferby 

But in the end these are just 17 year old kids playing a sport we ALL love and we love to be able to play again. So lets not rip these kids down or the school for that matter. All kids at all private schools are taking advantage of getting a better education so to belittle them for doing so is ridiculous. Let it all be settled on the field cause the message board isn't going to fix a thing.

I like this post. I also think the conversation in this thread is played out. It's evolved far beyond its original topic, and I'd encourage folks to follow my lead and let it sink to the bottom of the board.
