I dont think TCA has played a team a physical as Trenton. You have to be able to play defense and run the ball in the playoffs. And playing defense has been a weakness of TCA. Trenton all the way in this game

You obviously haven't seen ECS or Adamsville play. I saw Trenton play Hillcrest and Trenton is nowhere close to Adamsville or ECS as far as physicality. They are also not as good as those two teams. We've seen physical play. JCM has some very physical players as does St George's. Trenton is still a good physical team but it won't be anything we haven't already seen. And BTW, we can and will run the ball.

The last I checked which was the last week of the season you would have to go to middle of the state to find a team that had allowed less points scored on them. That's sounds like a pretty good defense.

I agree you have apoint i respect that. Both teams have played tough schedules. Peabody only giving up around 14 a a game Tca putting 40 a game on the boards something has got to give! Good luck to both teams!

Heard a rumor that Akin has something wrong with his knee. An MCL problem, is that true? If it is I am sure that would change the game plan a lot for TCA

No MCL problem. He is fine and good to go. We have a DB that has a sprained MCL and will be out this game and most likely next game if we win. He could be back by semis. We did lose a top lineman to an ACL tear and LCL tear. He was injured in Riverside game and so was DB. We are banged up but that's the way it goes this time of year.

    • As I said somewhere earlier in the thread, the original plans had no outdoor athletic facilities being part of the campus.  The original plan was for HVA to use facilities at nearby schools.  Very late in the process they came up with a plan and found budget to have minimal facilities and crammed them in to space that never was intended for athletic facilities.
    • Agreed, the way the field is turned you get the evening sun blasting right into the press box making filming a nightmare there, plus its so low.  The field is land locked and parking is a nightmare too. Seems like Knox County could have done a lot better there with the design and the quality.
    • I think this upcoming team may be pretty good, they will definately be better up front and if they can replace Dozier, Heyward and Rembert, they can be real good. They have the same strange schedule, but this time with 5 straight home games. The road games at Jeff County, Powell will be tough to open up with and the back side at Bearden is the tough game there.  One question I had if anyone knows: There has been some talk of an indoor practice facility in the past, with the new track area now more of a track area, that kind of leaves a need for a football practice area. Just sayin....
    • I find it hard to believe that 70% of a schools enrollment is zoned for another school district
    • I was told that the indoor facility is happening regardless of the vote on the taxes but it would be a much bigger project with more funds if they vote goes through
