Are you comparing NS to Memphis teams because their team is made up of players from low income African American families or because, like the Memphis teams, they regularly beat rural west tn teams?

whether NS travels well or not has nothing to do with the team...the question should prolly have not been mentioned...but it was obvious this is not what dude meant...

also...big school memphis teams regularly beat rural west TN teams...not small school outfits in 4a ball...

 

jackson folks show up to jackson matchups...NS vs SS...JCM vs liberty and the like...to be perfectly honest with u ppl...jackson folks believe that we are better at sports than other schools in the area and they all believe the game will come back to jackson eventually...thats why they dont travel...and thats a shame...fans arent necessarily associated with the schools because of children like they are other areas...

 

and jackson has an absolutely ridiculous number of high schools per capita

jackson needs 1 private school and 2 public schools = 3 state titles

 

10 high schools in a town this size is just dumb...but for some reason the ppl in charge believe this is a sign of power...FIGHT THE POWER!!!

Dyersburg should be able to win this game, even though NS beat them in a  scrimmage earlier in the year pretty bad. The key for the Trojans is that they have got to get off to a fast start and maintain it. If its the 4th quarter and NS is trailing by less than 6, they will win like they always did, they are good at finishing games and not giving up. IMO the NS run game is the key. Looking forward to being at Dyersburg. Good luck to both teams and a injury free game.

Does Northside brings lot of fans to away games? Or will it be like the Memphis teams, bus drivers, plus cheer leaders?

 

We will bring about 100-125 fans to the game, but I really don't know for sure. And we don't bring a bus for fans.

North Side has been trying for a few years to get Milan on the schedule for the gate.  Milan didnt want any!!!  Maybe they didnt want the game cause we supposedly dont travel well but I doubt that is the reason.

I have not seen Dyersburg this year. Northside played well to defeat us (Covington) last week. If you believe the rankings, Sonny Moore has D'burg with a big edge.

 

The home field is worth a lot in the playoffs.

You may be absolutely right, but all I have to go on is the shellacking NS put on DBurg in their preseason scrimmage when Dburg didn't come close to defending NS in space, but Dburg by no means used all the pages of their playbook!
