well gents...ill say something was exposed...but it may not have been by liberty...

 

our D has been something special for a few years in a row now...particularly in the 4a classification...craigmont changed that mystique for me last night...we gave up more offensive TDs last night than we have all year combined to opposing 4a teams...granted we were up 3 TDs the whole game...but that is unacceptable to me

 

liberty wins games because other teams cannot run the ball against us...craigmont was able to run and pass the ball against us in the 2nd and 3rd quarters...a 28-7 game became a shootout and had no business being one...it was disgraceful

 

there was a point in the game...28-7 in the early 2nd quarter...when i believed we could give trezevant a run for their money...a coin flip would decide it...and then all heck broke loose...

 

can we beat trezevant...yes...i have seen a team that can beat them on a few occasions this year...but the team that showed up in memphis last night was not one of them...offense is awesome and nice to talk about...but we demoralize teams on Defense...thats what makes us special...we have work to do!!! and i fully expect us to be ready to rock another teams world friday night

You guys got a tough draw matched against a strong Trezevant in such an early round. We, in Henry County,think you can pull off the victory and will be pulling hard for you to do so.

Trezevant was pretty good last year at Covington. We felt lucky to get out with a win. As I recall, they made some mistakes early and we got the lead. Later on, their defense shut us down and we barely hung on for the win.

 

Good luck to Liberty. I think you will need it.

im under the impression that theyre not as good as least season...not far off from it...but enough that this game should be a toss up

i hope trezevant makes it to cookeville......FOR THAT #### WHUPPIN they're gona get. Hey, im not sayin it will be us giving it to ya, but whether its us or fulton, whoever shows up in cookeville, its gona be ugly for yall and i personally  couldnt be happier knowing that, so please dont choke on the way

'dhstennis ,Liberty fans  take their first blows and trash talkin proving your not afraid and are in this for 1 reason only ..TOO WIN ..after seeing your exposive O in win over Craigmont should give them plenty to worry about  stoppin yall making their D   null and void ...theyll have to score in bunches to win  and I for one dont believe they can ..

GOOD Luck  hopin to see yall week 3 of playoffs in Dyersburg  !!

      QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid..
