TSSAA Off-Season-Eligibility Question-Camps\Bowls-help

Does anyone know if participating in the Offense Defense Showcase Event as a JR violates any of the TSSAA eligibility rules?  My son recieved an invite to participate in the O-D Showcase Event being held in Orlando 30 Dec-Jan 4. 

 

I know the TSSAA does not allow JR's to participate in All-Star Games but I do not think the O-D Showcase meets the "All-Star" criteria.  I do not want to either pay money for a camp\bowl he cannot attend or worse go and put his eligibilty at risk. 

 

Any help or information apprecieated.

Call the TSSAA office and ask them... it is the only way to know for sure.

I would run this by your AD...they should know the answer

I would get something in writing from T$$AA stating it is ok, do not just call them, would hate for it to bite you because someone was mistaken on the phone, Always cover yourself when dealing with them.
