rigger101
Great Job Commando's! They have peaked at the right time. I really did not see a State Finalist team early in the season. The Maryville program will be a giant test. Good Luck
thegreatone36
Wow! White Station scores late to only go down 7 in what was previously a blowout. Almost came back. From a Green Wave to a Commando, great win H-ville
Newcastle
Commandos win in a close game, though the score was 42-14 Commandos near the end of the 3rd quarter. Congratulations to both teams on fantastic seasons. HHS - 49 WSHS -
Verb58
Prayers needed for WS player injured at end of game. Doesn't look good. Both teams prayed together after game. WS folks keep us updated.
SweetScience
How can you give up that many points in 1 quarter? Geez. Did Hendersonville just stop playing in the 4th or something?
mondo44
Happy about the win but need to talk more important things first. Prayers from the Commando family go out to #84 Dalvin Foster of the Spartans who was injured on the final play of the game. Really bad injury close to our sideline. Both teams and a lot of fans stayed on the field while paramedics tended to the young man. Both teams joined in a player led prayer for that young man. White Station has a first class program and their guys played a hard clean game. The last I heard they were going to Lifeflight him to Vanderbilt from Hendersonville Hospital. Will discuss the game on another post but the focus need to be on that young man for now.

mondo44
The Tennessean is quoting Coach Rosconi from WS saying that Dalvin has movement in all extremities and is conscious. Very glad to hear that. About the game tonight: Hville ran for 414 yds on 56 attempts with FB Corey Jones leading the way with 25 rushes for 241 yds, Cameron Turner had 11 for 79 and Soph Jack Towe had 9 for 65. Elston went 4 for 8 passing for 54 yds and 2 TDs to Braden Schwerdt and 1 pick. Didn't do a great job in the 4th but for the first 3 played about as well as we have all year on offense. Gave up too many big plays on D but we were playing a pretty good offense. The best thing is that we get another week together.
