Alcoa v. CPA 3A Championship

Recommended Posts

No doubt that Alcoa is the clear favorite in this game. The Gold ball has belonged to the CAK-Alcoa district for some time and until a team from the Middle or West can show otherwise, they remain the clear favorite. I thought that Milan would have kept it closer last year but it was not to be.

CPA looked a bit off their game tonight early but finally rallied in the fourth quarter (no doubt a good LC team was the cause as well and deserves credit for a hard fought game). CPA is going to have to play much better next week in Cookeville.

Congrats to the Lions for getting over the semis hurdle. Keep grinding!

all I can tell Alcoa is run the football because Lewis Co ran the crap out of the football tonight! I'm pretty sure Lewis Co had over 300 yard tonight

Don't go ballistic, but this is my view based on level of competition, how they handled tougher opponents, how they handled common opponents. It is hard to do with some teams, like Manassas and Upperman for example, but this is just IMO. Note there are 6 current 4 seeds or better not listed. Give me your opinion why I am wrong based on some rational reasoning, not just defending your team.
This is a Nerds thread.
