Ya'll gotta remember that of the 4 losses dealt to Riverdale....the TOTAL point total has been 12 points, with 3 of the losses by 1 point....and of the 4 teams that have beaten Riverdale...3 have been top 10 teams in the country.  #3 in the country Blackman beat them 47-46.....#7 Homewood-Flossmoor beat them 63-62....#1 in the country Long Beach Poly beat them 57-49, and Columbia beat them 68-66.  Lots to play in the season.  Riverdale will be fine tourney time.

Why do we talk about Science Hill like they are some little podunk school that is over achieving because they don't recruit and all the girls are home grown. It's one of the biggest high schools in the state for crying out loud and the only public high school the girls can go to in that vicinity. They dont recruit, because they don't have to. They ought to be good when you have that many students to choose from. It's different when you have 6 or 7 schools like Murfreesboro does and year after year most of the best talent ends up in one or two places. That's why there is such suspicion. Bottom line is this, TSSAA allows all of this to happen openly. A few of the better programs just know how to play poker better than others. None of it is illegal until TSSAA  decides to crack down or change rules. Until then, just let the girls lace 'em up and play ball and enjoy watching some pretty good girls basketball across the state.

You obviously don't know our area. There are 3 high schools in our county. We are the city school. Our city is 56000. The boro is? I do not buy the size of the school thing. If anything it hurts you cause there are different things kids can do at a large school than a smaller one. As for poker, you got to know when to fold em and know when to hold em. They are good poker players.

Murfreesboro has 4, not 6-7. Oakland, Riverdale, Blackman all have been nationally ranked at some point in the last 2 seasons. Boys Basketball has 3 really good teams as well, and football has had a different district champion each year since 2009.

Rutherford County has a athletic director that oversees that all schools are in compliance. Maybe one day all the haters will have actual proof that Blackman or Riverdale is doing something illegal, but I doubt it. Its the product of great coach staffs, administrations that realize the importance of athletics, along with a growing city that alot of people want to be a part of

Hey warrior someone hit a nerve? Your agument or push has no footing. If you knew history then you know TN started in the east so naturally towns and school would be older. The issue is recuiting through talks during the summer. It doesn't matter cause nothing is going to be done. It all above the table cause I'm sure someone connected owns some rental property and people can slide in and slide out.

    • Yep..could possibly have 3 teams ranked in top ten in the same four team district.
    • He had an opportunity to be the OC at TC without final say in the offensive gameplan. How does that work? Smh. Head Coaches are public figures regardless of the community size, and yes there are some out there, it’s irrelevant and not fair to them to name them on here. Also why is said “head coach” the head coach of the MS baseball program to begin with? Oh because no one wants it. As for the Lebanon question, I know what I’ve been told so just going off here say, some of the boosters were not happy with his roster decisions and wanted him out. Although he lead them to 20+ wins in multiple seasons
    • A head coach in the school system? No I dont think so. Head coaches are public figures in small communities. Not trying to slander, but this is an actual question. Do you know why he was forced to resign at Lebanon? This was his second chance.  He already left trousdale once and had an opportunity to come back a couple of years ago but spoiled that.
    • Are you perfect? Nope no one is, at the end of the day there are several teachers/coaches and even some in the Trousdale County school system that have DUI’s on their record. You’re correct on it being a bad mistake and it unfortunately could have ended horribly. While you consider the consequences minimal, I can assure you they are not. Ultimately I hope and have faith that he will learn from it and use it to better himself.
