District 16AA Tourney Site?

Am looking for info on district 16aa tourney site.  Anyone have that information yet?

Is there a selection process as to what school gets to be the hosting site?  Or is it based off something else?

In Memphis the host school is selected in alphabetical order and a lot of schools pass on hosting it. The problem comes, especially in 1A, with fiancés. Most of our teams are charter schools with low enrollment. Most schools go in the hole hosting because of security. The games are not well attended. Two years ago we hosted the district and the regional and w lost over $1300 because of security. You are mandated to have 7 officers at $27 per hour for each game. We had to eat that loss. This year we have a few sponsors for the district and we are hoping the regional draws a larger crowd. So to all 15A teams please come out and support.

Just called Manassas to get brackets for 16AA boys. It appears they are playing a girls game and a boys game each night this week. Boys are at 7:30 so girls must be at 6:00. Boys games this week are:

 

Tue- Westwood vs Trezevant

Wed.- Manassas vs Raleigh Egypt

Thu.- Douglas vs Craigmont

Fri.- Sheffield vs Frayser/Fairley winner

@Galilee, thanks for the information.  Wow, I see why they would pass it up.  Regular attendance games do not have a high capacity of attendance, as it is, and most of the time, people coming to tournaments generally come just to see their supported school play or maybe high profile player/school rivalry type games.  It varies if they stay for any other games.  

 

So to take it a step further, does the hosting school keep all the proceeds (mostly speaking about ticket sales) since they put up the money for the tournament or does TSSAA require that a percentage be distributed among the participating schools.

Proceeds LOL what are those  ? We hope to break even but little chance of that. We just eat the loss and move on. If we were to have any we would divide it among game shares with each school.
