I know Walker Valley had a wrestler from Polk County HS (no wrestling program), but I never heard why it was WVHS that he wrestled for, or if he had a choice.

Is Soddy as strong as they have been?

Meigs didn't play in their tournament with the boys basketball playing at the state, would have gotten a better feel for them if they had.

I'm not sure what to think of Soddy this year. They had good showings in the play days and opened the season with a win over traditional power Beech, 6-0. I think their game against Walker Valley will be a good indicator. I think their pitching is not too strong, but their hitting should still be solid.
