Evangelical Christian School vs. Battle Ground Academy

University School of Nashville vs. St. George

I can not see St. George being able to deal with the BGA's depth and physical play.

Congratulations to the BGA Wildcats on your State Championship.  2-0 win over St Georges.

 

Finished the year 19-1 with wins over MBA, Riverdale(2 state tournament teams), Page, Columbia(2 District winners), Brentwood Academy, JPII, and did not allow a district goal all season.  The lone loss was to #5 nationally ranked Franklin 2-0. 

 

It's very possible that the two best soccer teams in Tennessee in 2014 are located a mile apart in Franklin, Tennessee.

BGA dominated division 2A. ECS was the only team that had a chance

ECS and Knox Webb.  Knox Webb gave BGA there toughest game of the year and then lost to ECS 1-0 late in the game.

BGA played very badly against knox webb but very true. Knox webb is really young too so they will be strong next year

I want to extend a congratulations to USJ's Melek BeLong (may not be his last name, but am pretty sure its is). Melek was one of many 8th graders to start for USJ this season, and he has received a spot with a German youth development team. His brother was the keeper at Madison Academic

Anyone have opinions, thoughts, comments on the upcoming season in Division II?

We play Father Ryan and MBA next week (weather permitting) so I'll be able to comment on those two D2 teams.

I am a MBA loyalist and the team, led by Junior Will Emerson, is shaping up. In last night's scrimmage MBA tied Franklin HS 1-1. MBA controlled possession against FHS (they lost tons of seniors) but gave up a late goal when Coach Cheevers cleared the bench.

 

I thing Baylor in the East and Christian Brothers in the West are the teams to beat. I am looking forward to reading your comments on FRHS. On paper they should be rebuilding but they ave had our number the last few seasons.
