I think Father Ryan should be moved up on this list - I see them having a better season than last year. More experienced players with some talent and good coaching!

I hear you. And perhaps slots 8-11 are wide open.

 

But they get the huge "PROVE IT" stamp this year. And they are fortunate to even get that stamp. The enigmatic Irish can beat the BA Eagles, scare the Big Red - and inexplicably lose a home playoff game. I thought the Irish were experienced last year, too, and the coaching staff hasn't changed (its a good staff, but its the same staff, I think). Hard to put them ahead of those first 7 teams.

I agree they do have a lot to prove - just think the talent is there and coaching did a lot last year. I think my biggest question mark is BA - it will be interesting to see what they can do (or not do) this season.

It sounds cliche, but BA reloads, not rebuilds. They have a massive athletic line. I like the Eagles this year without pause.

Their line is massive, very talented and can play with any of the other teams in DII.  The question is the performance of their skill guys?  The departure of CJ Sanders leaves a big void for a very talented quarterback Dawson Knox.

I understand your point but Dawson has played a lot of football and is a terrific athlete. I hate to use this analogy but I think BA will look a little more like Ensworth this year than previous one where they run the ball behind a massive and talented offensive line. Possibly best in state this year

Yikes ...wonder who? We are not back into town until next week so I have been out of the loop. I think Cam Johnson could step up so hopefully it was not him.

Dawson Knox will be just fine...comes from very good stock.

I agree 100 %. The kid is huge now. Saw him on the football field over the summer and he is at least 6'4 - 6'5 now. He has grown and looks strong. Should be fun to watch this BA team
