It would have to be coin flip if LA wins & both win their last game. Because LAs only other loss will have 2 losses to CC & vice versa. Definetly two of the best AA teams & both are underrated.

When are the top 8aa teams not underrated? It's been like that for as long as I can remember.  We've all seen 8aa teams go into places where they just "aren't" suppose to win, and do just that,

This is how i think the standings will be going into the district tournament   1.Livingston Academy   2.Macon County   3.Cannon County   4.Dekalb County   5.York Institute   6.Upperman

The fact that we are still coming away from these with wins is a positive to me.

Our D isn't bad at all if we stay committed. Tonight's case was more of them hitting just about everything they threw up after the half. Including that 3/4 court bomb at the end of the third. Honestly

Upon further investigation, I was told the tie breaker would be common opponent.  The coaches voted to do away with the coin flip when there was a three way tie for first with the girls a few years back.  So if LA wins tonight, and Cannon and LA both win Thursday, then the 1st place seed depends on who wins tonight between York and Macon.  If Macon wins, then CC is the one seed.  If York wins, then LA is the one seed.  I believe that was what I was told.  Clear as mud, right?

Since york has already beaten Macon once then wouldn't it be another tie if MC wins tonight? That would make MC 8-5 & York 7-6 with a split. Then wouldn't it come down to each teams last game? Lol! Agreed! All I know is LA and CC should be on opposite sides of the bracket! I think it goes by record of common opponent. Even if York and Macon split, Macon still has the better overall record pending two wins this week.

Oldkoger I have the upmost respect for LA and their program. Being @ home and with the Defence They have been playing size does not matter. Still say 4-6 CC. They ran York till they were out by the first quater. It's been a long year Cream is a riding to the top

CC definetly has a good press & great atmosphere. LA has way more depth than york so dont see fatigue being an issue. This will be a great one! Thanks for the respect & likewise the CC program has earned everyone's respect including mine.

If Cannon finishes above LA in the district standings, I will not post on an 8aa boys basketball thread or any team playing in this district for and entire year. Won't happen, but I will be a man of my word.

Cough, cough....

 

So does that start now or after the season is over?

      Unfortunately the Sweetwater thing spooked some principals and ADs looking for head coaches in this cycle, even though Caleb wasn't at fault in any way. He had multiple OC opportunities. Personally, I'm glad he chose Karns, given that my oldest grandson plays in their middle school program.  Caleb is a good coach and a class act. It's a win for Karns to get him.

      I was asked about this untrue speculation last night at our banquet(and several times over the last few weeks) which has been circulating on this website and through word of mouth. I am not taking the Rockvale job, nor have I even interviewed for that job or ANY other job since coming to Tullahoma. I have no desire to leave Tullahoma, my family and I love it here. We are committed to building our Lady Cats basketball program. I wanted to make sure our players, parents and stakeholders didn't get mixed messages from what I have continued  to communicate from day one and the untrue speculations of me leaving.  Coach Hibdon As stated above and I will add for clarification. This includes Blackman, we have no desire to leave Tullahoma, go back to Rutherford Co (even Blackman) or ANYWHERE else. There has been speculation from day 1 that I may be leaving for another job particularly RuCo and I have had to address the speculations many times. So I felt it necessary to make a statement for the basketball community and mostly our Ttown community to hear my commitment again amongst these constant rumors. We love this community, love living by the lake and no desire to move our 3rd grader and 6th grader from this school system. I wanted to make these statements for all those who are invested and interested in Lady Cats Basketball that my family and I are committed to being a part of Tullahoma High and the Tullahoma community for many years.

      Well well well,  It was just a matter of time before the wheels fell plumb off the dragon wagon, and that pos  is sittin' over on highway 61 #### up in the ditch.   I called it 2 years ago everybody thought it was so cute with the church van and the K-town basement boys.   And here we are.  This is about to get fugly.  It's a mess and it's about to go public.   Investigators are just now scratching the surface.  Stay tuned.  Watch the news in the next few nights. Just when you thought you had seen it all, here we go......................
