frozenroper
I have no idea about Kevin. I just remember watching him play. He was also a great wrestler. He graduated the year before I got there. I'm class of '79.
footballfanatic
Did Johnny Murray play there? I thought he was a capt.
frozenroper
I don't recall that name. Prior to '76, I can't speak for many names on OHS's roster.
hardball03
Class of 77 for me. He was a good wrestler. Had the most powerful and efficient "fireman's carry" that I've ever seen. My best memory is seeing him, individually, make a goal line stand against MBA or Ryan on OHS's 1 yard line......he was good at standing up a running back. frozenroper
I'm class of 79...it was a good thing practice-wise to not have to get hit by him when we came to johnny O. Yes, it was always fun to watch him set up his signature move. It was fun because we knew it was coming but the poor guy wrestling him didn't. sbcoach
Johnny Murray was class of 71. OHS won state after that, he was capt. Now living in Manchester TN last I heard. He was also a good basketball player & baseball. I was in class of 71, Coutras cam in 1970 when program started to do better.
