District 11AA

A 2-3 zone will leave them way to many open shots from the perimeter unless you are very athletic and long. I think it would be hard to get in a running game with them, you will have to control the tempo. They can shoot you out of most any zone but the 1-3-1 can limit the looks from up top or on the wings and force them to come from the corners. Creekwood has the size to match up man to man they will just have to rotate and help on the penetrations.

With 2 of the top 15 in TN 3-point shooters returning from last year and one of which loves that corner 3, 1-3-1 is scrapped real quick.  I like Creekwood's pieces on paper against us.  The key to victory will be: which team withstands and limits the opposing teams runs (both teams can and will score) and which team can create turnovers and capitalize on them.  I hope the refs let them play next week.

Do you think Aldridge can play Randolph man?  I personally would not put Edmondson on him or let him start.  Season is young.  If this was district tourney, he would be out there if cleared by doctor.  If I was coaching, I would limit his minutes and increase them after Christmas break.

WELL HERE IT IS..... WAVERLY @ CREEKWOOD TUESDAY DEC.9TH. What are the predictions for this game? Waverly won the previous 3 meetings last year and def out rebounding creekwood on the boards last year and def tried to slow the whole game down. I will say CREEKWOOD comes out flying and rebounding like crazy. We've been waiting since last year for this game and i know for sure it will be 3 or 4 matchups this year.

That wasn't a game...having said that Waverly does seem to be missing some of the intensity from last season..might have just been that we were not worth getting the intensity up for.  I am going to the Creek wood Waverly game next week

That's where you need to go since your such a Waverly bandwagon supporter. Maybe you and Wavotiger10 can hook up and watch the game together.

    • Yep..could possibly have 3 teams ranked in top ten in the same four team district.
    • He had an opportunity to be the OC at TC without final say in the offensive gameplan. How does that work? Smh. Head Coaches are public figures regardless of the community size, and yes there are some out there, it’s irrelevant and not fair to them to name them on here. Also why is said “head coach” the head coach of the MS baseball program to begin with? Oh because no one wants it. As for the Lebanon question, I know what I’ve been told so just going off here say, some of the boosters were not happy with his roster decisions and wanted him out. Although he lead them to 20+ wins in multiple seasons
    • A head coach in the school system? No I dont think so. Head coaches are public figures in small communities. Not trying to slander, but this is an actual question. Do you know why he was forced to resign at Lebanon? This was his second chance.  He already left trousdale once and had an opportunity to come back a couple of years ago but spoiled that.
    • Are you perfect? Nope no one is, at the end of the day there are several teachers/coaches and even some in the Trousdale County school system that have DUI’s on their record. You’re correct on it being a bad mistake and it unfortunately could have ended horribly. While you consider the consequences minimal, I can assure you they are not. Ultimately I hope and have faith that he will learn from it and use it to better himself.
