delusional32
From what I have seen scotts record at Moore county was 19-18 just over .500. Looks like mantooth has not made such a good choice. Surely someone with a better record applied. WarBeagle
Look at Gillian's (Smith) record at public schools, and that's a GREAT hire?!?! Looks like a CofC hire..... Scott Smith is a great hire for FC! Good job Mantooth!
delusional32
I did a little more research on scott and I have to correct what I put in my last post he had a record of 113 - 67 before he took the job at warren county this season. he coached at Greenbrier, Ezell Harding, Independence, Science Hill, and Moore county. At Ezell Harding he won the 1A state title. 4 season at Moore county his record was 30 -16. At Warren county he went 4 - 6. So maybe Mantooth didn't make as bad of a choice as I thought. delusional32
Does anyone think that Scott got out of warren county because of the realignment into the super 32?
Bearfire
That's funny! You obviously dont coach and have never had to prepare for his offense. Stay in the stands where you belong.
Bearfire
If he is smart he will have Greg Brewer in charge of the defense and with his offense they will be in the playoffs in 15!
ValleyExpert
You obviously dont coach and have never had to prepare for his offense. Stay in the stands where you belong. Your right, I don't coach. So I can only go by the numbers. Since 2005 his winning percentage is barely over .500 and he has only won 2 playoff games in past 10 years. Seems to me several coaches have figured out his offense.
Governm
He needs to call William BlountNo. We need a quality coach that will stick around.
Footballfan27
Does anyone think that Scott got out of warren county because of the realignment into the super 32? I guarantee that is the reason he got out. Smart move on his part.
