Man these districts dont care much for people scheduling non district opponents.  I like tradition, I wanna play camden, milan, mckenzie, teams as well as others and this'll make it hard to schedule opponents.

I think it's lots of travel time. Who this be for all sports or just football. I can't see going to Wayne county on a Tuesday nigh for a basketball or baseball game.

I agree travel is brutal for some of these games

Whoever thought those up are absolute idiots! They will have to move the game times to 9:00 to allow for drive time!

I am SHOCKED Jellico is not in Region 1.. and what is with flipping Region 4 and Region 5?

Region 7 is stacked. I also done like all the region games. Saying that this is how it was when I was in high school. Tradition is nice but if Huntingdon had more students or moved up then you guys would still be able to play your old foes

That's what I was wondering.  Unless my thinking is wrong(highly possible), Trousdale will be coming out of the west during the playoffs.

Region 5 looks to be a monster Trousdale, Nashville Christian, Gordonsville, Jo Byrns, MTCS, Monterey, Red Boiling, Clay County, Pickett. 4 perennial top 10 teams and 4 rapidly improving programs. Looks to be a DOG fight for 4 spots could be 2 or 3 very good teams out of playoffs every year. It looks like it will create some great battles in the future and some very lengthy travel. Pickett or Clay to Jo Byrns or NC is gonna be 3 hour drive easy. Plus gonna go west in playoffs talking about 4 to 5 hour drive for some first round matches. Maybe T$$AA is gonna start helping with travel. HaHaHa

Region 8 in Class 1A may just be the absolute worst region in the state in all classes.
