Correction made. DB beat Sevier County, 48-41. I actually watched that game and it was back and forth the whole way. Either team could've won that night. It doesn't change my point though. DB barely beat Sevier County. A team that barely beat Morristown West. Which is a team that was hammered by SH.

Yep, I miss coach.I wouldn't care if he was coaching or not today.I just like to sit in the stands with him during practice and talk about football and food.

This thread is starting to resemble the infamous Jon Gruden threads over on the UT message boards after Doolittle was canned.

 

But since you guys seem to want to play this game, why would DB want Ballard. He had three seasons where they dominated and won two titles, sure. However, 4A isn't exactly loaded with elite teams like 5A and 6A is. Greeneville also hasn't gotten past Fulton, the current 4A behemoth, in the past few years.

 

For you DB guys wanting heads to roll, just remember what UT has gone through since parting ways with Fulmer.

I'm surprised you guys would want Ballard. I mean I thought you loved your coach. Anyway like I said Ballard will not go to DB. I'm a personal friend and I happen to know he hates DB. He's been at Greeneville for about 16 years I believe.

That's okay. I've hated Greenville ever since the last time DB played them. Most obnoxious fans, band, and players anywhere. Don't want Ballard or anything remotely green.

Greeneville has some great fans and yes they have some horses azz fans.Same for the rest of NET.I've had bad trips to many places as a fan of DB and as a father of DB players.I've also had the same as a player or fan of Greeneville.I doubt many of todays players have seen some of the stuff I seen in the seventies at places like Cocke county or Erwin.That doesn't mean everyone in those towns will spit,bite,drink or throw rocks and eggs like frigging ernest  t bass,but I'll tell you that a few hundred used to.I don't care where the next head coach comes from if he is a great coach and good man like we have had in coach Clark when he calls it a career.I dread that day because as we seen at UT,sometimes a change can be a cluster.We have a coach on staff that I think would fit well as a head football coach.He would have to give up baseball ,but coach Wagner is a a good one .There might be a drop- off in jokes during press time but it's hard to imagine a coach anywhere that could fill coach Clarks shoes in that aspect.I love the way the radio guys will sometimes go silent when he says some of that crazy stuff.Like the " happy as a nun joke earlier this year"

This is a DB 2015 thread and yet you guys are still alive in the 2014 playoffs, are you already throwing in the towel for 2014?      What if you beat the Toppers?      I don't think you will but at least you still have a shot at staying alive in 2014

Seven turnovers in the past 2 games, 5 int and 2 fumbles - If we get some more of the same Friday this thread will become relevant quickly. DB will have to take care of the ball and make SH drive the field. I can only hope we work on our fourth and 20 defense, take away those two plays and turnovers and lets see where we are.

I originally started this thread to see what DB had coming back next year out of curiosity. In no way does that mean anyone has given up on the 2014 campaign. There is a DB-SH thread for that. If you'd rather comment there about 2014 matters, by all means do that. This is more or less a futures thread, plain and simple.
