What is to be expected this year? Any preseason prognostications? Football is over for all but Dobyns-Bennett and Science Hill.

Saw the article in the Times News on Monday which gave nuggets on each team. Looks to be a Science Hill and David Crockett race. DB's four best players are no longer with the program.

DB has their football players back except for Thompson who is still recovering from football inj. DB played Mtown East Friday and had a 30 point lead with 4 min left when he cleared the bench. Play a tough South Doyle team in Knoxville this week. I'm sure the Hill is looking forward to getting their footballers back from what I can tell as they lost to Eliz the other night. Crockett has a lot of talent and is well coached the preseason prediction is well deserved. THS had several football players on the bench at the jamboree and I would expect some noise from them once they're in form. The remaining teams are what they are.

DB has three back that played significant min. last season, Foreman, Stewart and Holt. Jarvis Brooks and a transfer from Gate City Cody Mays will play big inside and out. Jacoby Thompson will add depth to guard position. After first 8/9 we are young. Some big boys with talent but need work.

DB beat SD 78-63, still need to get our legs under us but SD has a good team. This Db squad appears to be a much better "team" than last year. Much better chemistry.

DB opens up with an ugly 2OT win vs the Hill at home. Worst game we have played so far. We need some of our bigs to learn to play in big games. Good defensive effort by this bunch though.

When you have players leave teams SH to Crockett DB to Christ it takes away from the rivalry.I hate because I use to look forward to these games the best rivalries is the Eliz Erwin Hampton @Cloudland this players stay with there programs
