Private vs Public

Will we ever see a split where public schools don't have to play teams in the tournaments that say they don't recruit players but always seem to have kids from all over the state and other states.

Probably not and I don't see why not. Nobody profits from it.... TSSAA doesn't.... The private schools don't (they don't need the money) and Public Schools certainly don't.

It is time for the public schools to leave TSSAA and form a public school associaiton.

close the open-enrollment schools and stop having the public schools "convince" students to leave a school and come to their school

 

Lets just make a rule that says no student can transfer to any school regardless the reason.  Once you start at a school, the student must stay the entire 12 years.

according to the conspiracists, the family only moved because the student was recruited and wants to play for the better team.

 

So in order to remove all doubts and conspiracy theories, no transfers are allowed.  Go to the new school but no athletic competition.  Oh, and throw in they cannot play in the band or sing in chorus or any other activity.
