RonMexico3
RonMex, very interesting thoughts. Good ideas on the all important demographics comparison between Nashville and ETN. Would the same theory apply to West TN and Memphis? Wonder what kind of really "old" fossil I would be. Too funny. No, it would not apply to west TN. With all due respect to west TN, far more people move to the Nashville area than they do Memphis and I can't blame them for that. The population growth has brought a diverse sporting crowd to Nashville. The majority of the "Yankees" are professional sports fans. The majority of the locals are college fans. Also, I can not emphasize enough how much ice hockey has taken off in the middle TN area because of the Predators and youth programs. Go Preds! beachboy
RonMex, yeah have to agree with you on your assesment. Totally different demographics especially with so many different things to do. However, there is a very strong volleyball community in middle TN, and I would of thought they might be more vocal on CoachT. Just thinkin'. Thanks for the input. My daughter plays on a 1 team for one of the younger Alliance teams so I'll try to throw in my two cents when I hear or see something from the 615. kr1416
I think it is because the volleyball community in Knoxville has exploded. There is more interest than at any other time in history because of K2. Look what it did for Webb, Farragut and others. You also see parents caring about the sport, and the tragedy that occurred at Bearden. For years Anderson County was the only state power in our area. As this years state playoffs showed, Knoxville has passed Nashville and Chattanooga has disappeared. The Anderson County thing has about been worn out on here. They were okay but let's move on. Every time somebody gets on here and talks about how good they are or going to be I see them play and I don't see it. I am sure they are a great program. State powerhouse NO.
