GREENWAVE84EG
Oakland over Gallatin 6-1 in the Wilson County Invitational. A 4 run bottom of the 6th blew it open for the Patriots. Seven different players had a hit each, but the Wave could never string enough offense together against an outstanding effort from Oakland's Hawks, who pitched all 7 innings. SOUTHERNFRIED
What a week, we started off the week playing Westmoreland. This game was actually the first time we had all the kids on the field at one time, due to all the weather. We had all of our scrimmages rained or snowed out, and our first 3 games were cancelled. Faced a tough kid that Ive known since he was four, great little lefty, we lost 6-0 on his 14k, no hitter he threw. Then we faced Watertown on Tuesday. Were down 3-1 going into the last two innings and won 4-3. Tonight in our 3 game of the week we played Hume-Fogg, after 3 innings we were tied 3-3 and ended the game winning 16-6 in 5 innings. Start district play next week with Station Camp and Wilson Central, appears to be a tough week ahead for us. Good luck to everyone, and I pray for safe games.
