Information has been updated on our website. The following path will take you to the document entitled: "Strength and Speed Clinic Agenda/Schedule".

www.whitwellfootball.com > Main Menu > Handouts > Strength and Speed Clinic Agenda/Schedule

You may also find other resources on our website that may benefit you or your student-athlete(s). Please take advantage of the information on the site, as we believe the dissemination of the information we've made available in our program, is conducive to developing our youth. It is our responsibility, as coaches, to ensure we've done our due diligence in building what we believe is a model football program and the information on the website is a small part of that. We do not claim intellectual property rights, except where noted by copyright.

Payment can be made during regular school hours at the Whitwell High School Main Office (200 Tiger Trail-Whitwell, TN).

See Mrs. Grayson or Mrs. Ogden. Cost is $10 for each student-aged attendee. For each paid student-aged attendee, one parent/guardian may also register for free. Both of our Speakers are NSCA-CSCS Certified Instructors which you will find at the Professional Level and the majority of Division 1 NCAA Level Programs. This Clinic is gender neutral and may benefit participants of all sports, although for purposes of demonstration and specific applications, we will utilize elements of our Tiger Strength Program to convey important points. It will be informative. It is Top Tier Information that will be shared. Anyone may attend. The proceeds will benefit the Whitwell High School Football Program and defray costs incurred to bring these speakers to the venue. Deadline to register is February 19th, 2015 at 3:05pm (CST). We look forward to seeing you there!

hopefully the roads will be better to travel

With the closure of schools last week, we have extended the registration. We will be taking registrations during the school day on Monday February 23rd. We will also take walk-ins at the door to the Auditorium. Coach Anderson is in town and we are currently shooting the lift video at the Field House. We look forward to seeing you all on Monday.

Update on Strength and Speed Clinic:

Due to school closing today, we are canceling today's segment of the Clinic.

We are still planning on hosting the session scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday February 24th) assuming school will be in session.

We hope you can make it to tomorrow's session.

Same time: 4:00pm TO 7:00PM (CST).

The fee for tomorrow's session has been reduced to $5 per attendee with the previous criteria still in place. (For every paid student-athlete/attendee a parent receives free admission).

    • QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
