Creek Wood is as good of a boys basketball team as you'll see a Class AA public school put out. They are well coached and play with great effort and have talented players.

 

Having said that though CPA is just CPA and as one of the posters said earlier you are playing against the best players $$$ can buy.

CW had no answer for Blackwell. Campbell was also difficult. The big start by CPA was what CW didn't need but they never quit and kept coming CW has a good shot in sectional. Give CPA credit they are good of course they should be!

Not many teams have an answer for Blackwell. I think he's been on cruise control the last couple of months and it sounds like he turned it up a couple of notches. I wouldn't sleep on Creekwood however. They're better than Pearl and I think they'll advance to State. Actually, if they make it, their draw might be better than if they had beaten CPA. Lexington should be in their bracket. On the other hand, the other side of the bracket will probably have Haywood and Fulton.

I think the game was decided when Edmondson was not put on Blackwell to start the game. The 13 point run at the beginning when they had a mismatch killed them.

Agreed but even Edmondson couldn't check without fouling. Just a great player. But the run was the ballgame IMHO.
