Doesnt make alot of sense to look at any of those 3 schools. You would never have a chance to play for anything more than a district title and with that district... it aint saying much to win it. I think that she would get much better competition staying at MC and playing that district and then after next year having a chance to make the first of what should be 2 deep runs her jr and sr years.

Look for this person to go to one of the Murfreesboro schools.

Especially since she plays AAU up there. Taht would make more sense, but where she is now she is a BIG fish in a little pond and at one of those schools she would be coming off the bench or more of a role player. Smart move would be to not make one and rack up the hardware in "A" ball. Can and will still get D1 looks there at MC.

How big is she? And does she really have D-1 talent if she can't start in AAA?

She is 5'8" or so. She is a very strong kid and plays very hard with a very wide range of skills. She can start at most AAA schools, but not so sure about the Murfreesboro schools. She might start, but not sure that she would be a main impact player like the girls that Blackman, or Oakland, or any of the others have now. She would not take their starting spots, but she would be a nice piece for those teams. If she stays put she will have a chance to be Ms. Basketball the last 2 years of here career if not sooner, district MVP, Region MVP etc... If she goes to a AAA school, not so sure that she will have that same opportunity. The girl that left MC last year and went to Lincoln started, but she is realizing the reality that at the most she will ever play for now there is a district title and will never get a chance to play for anything.

Is she better than Pierce?

    • Ah, more Coach Ham bashing. There seems to be a club, so tell us, are you the VP, Chairman?  From the stories I've heard from his past players themselves Coach Ham is one of a kind and has literally worked himself to the bone year after year at every coaching stop. His legacy isn't Ws and Ls.  So give it a rest. It may be old school cliché, but could you even walk a mile in his shoes? The man has retired from coaching, let him be. Even on these measily message boards.
    • Evans-Collins got a lot of play over the years.  Several junior high teams and the youth leagues played there in my day.
    • Nick Boykin of Riverdale Hs and Sunkist Kids WC will wrestle in the Olympic Trials finals tomorrow against Joe Rau. Winner goes to Tokyo!
    • Yeah, I’ve seen it cause issues too. I read in a newspaper that he was just going to teach, so I assumed it was at CRHS. Maybe I misunderstood. Are there any guys on his staff ready to take it over?
    • Sounds like the same group that designed West, South, East and Fulton. They all used the old Knoxville High Field along with Rule. Talk about a field that got over used.
