Superintendent and board at Dickson Co turned down recommendation for Barrett, therefore, they've hired someone from out of state..

Principal still wants Barrett. Tipps never even applied wants to build at Stone. Board wants Eves Daughter. Not sure out of State guy has been offered. Good job for someone but seems to be a mess.

Every kid Coach Barrett coached that graduated in the three years he was at Riverdale had an opportunity to play college ball.  It would be a shame to judge him by one incident.  He is a great choice.  If not there, he will be picked up somewhere.  He is too good of a coach and gets his kids to the next level.  Only two coaches to my knowledge in TN can say they won a National Championship and he is one of the two.

Coach Barrett is a good coach. The team he inherited was loaded. Not many coaches wouldn't have done same thing. He has 1 State Tourney on his resume. Also had TN and Clemson signees as SRs that failed to make it out of a Region Tournament. I agree he should be given opportunity to coach again and would be a good hire at Dickson.
