BarcaFan
Let's not let the East do all the talking. There is always a couple of teams from the mid-state that are vying for a state championship. I have seen some good games out of Independence, Brentwood, Overton, Station Camp and Father Ryan so far this season. Who is lurking and who will win their district? While I would not discount Overton, they tied Cane Ridge already and play Glencliff Friday who beat them last season in regular season before losing to them in the semis of the district. Also Antioch has a very good team this year, they were in the district finals last year and lost to state champ Franklin 2-1 in regionals. Its really a 4 way race right now(with hunters lane right on the outside) with no clear front runner. Fridays game might give us a little hint as to how things might shake out in district 12. Its a very tough district at the top this year.

coachstaggs
District 12 regular season is just about wrapped up. Glencliff top seed with 12-1 overall record and 6-1 in district. Looks like Antioch will finish second. District tournament next week at Overton. Will post schedule after coaches meeting Friday.
BarcaFan
Don't overlook Ravenwood. Limited schedule against top talent and they have usually come out on top!

ViewFromCheapSeats
In a wild 7-AAA season, parity was the name of the game. And the district tournament was no different. In the six games: Five games decided by one goal. The only exception was Siegel over Blackman when Siegel scored an empty net breakaway with 30 seconds left to go up 3-1. Four OT games. Oakland topped Siegel 1-0 to win the district title.
