Oak Ridge has to be able to do 3 things in order to win this game.

 

1) control the line of scrimage and let booker do what he does best, run the football.

 

2) "defend" the option VERY well. dont exactly have to stop it, just contain it.

 

3) "contain" Lamont Williams.

 

All 3 of these are vital in OR's quest to the boro!! Any other comments?

Coaching will make a difference in this one. Also, OR hardly ever wins up there because they play more than the 11 on the field...they play against the officials also. I don't know if DB pays them or what. I was at a game a few years ago 3 offensive pass interference calls on OR 2 on TD's. DB barely won the game!!

It was fortunate for DB to finally find out what the playoffs are like last year, all the years they have been there and everything. Please, DB ended Oak Ridge's season in 2000 and they will do it again this year.

Your reason of "we beat a team by way more than you did" has never been proven to be accurate. If you use that method you can prove any team in the state that has won one game is the best team in the state. Why do you point out one game, did you all hold Blount to 48 total yards and one first down? You all do have a decent team, but the shameful acts like listening to our radio signal have to stop before you get any respect.
