I hate hearing that anyone is injured. I'm confident she will come back for an outstanding Senior season!

I saw Jackson co play this summer and they were lacking an inside game. They had a tough time penetrating teams with good help D and no dominate bigs. I think they finish third in their district.

No way they finish 3rd. Jackson Cty can run up and down the court with the depth they have so having several bigs in the middle is not that important, what is important is adjusting to the talent you have on hand, Jackson Cty does this about as well as anyone.

well i seen her play in the 8th grade 2 years ago at york. unless there middle school goes to the 9th grade. or maybe they cheated . idk

Pickett had to hit a 3 point shot from beyond half court to send the district semi into overtime or it would have been the other way around, so lets not act like they are head and shoulders above JC however they are the favorites i will give you that.

Pickett Co. does not play dirty. Any time a team has outstanding players and has won a lot of state championships like Pickett Co. (5). Jackson Co. (8) and Clarkrange (8) jealous people say nasty things. I have watched PC basketball for 20 years and have NEVER seen this or EVER heard anyone claim that they play dirty.

Clarkrange girls will be really young this year, even more so with Lexi Smith enrolling at York and with the loss of Kara Meadows with a torn ACL and losing powerhouses like Faith VanRuden, Britney Cooper and Cheyenne Shaver to Graduation, All 3 of those girls going on to play college ball. But like I have seen many years past that when i am thinking that it may be a long season Coach Lamar always seems to surprise me with the out come, i think Crange will still be in the mix of things and possibly surprise a few people.. Good luck to all teams, its going to be a exciting season regardless!!!

Why did they leave and were they starters?

In single A ball,a dominant big is a luxury. Team speed is the dominant factor.  Good guard and forward play is where the road to success is. All the players have to box out for brief intervals just to get somebody open.
