There were few matches in middle Tennessee that were rained out on Monday which has moved some of the semifinal match dates.  Info on A/AA districts 9-12.

9-A/AA - White House v White House Heritage @ Heritage on Thursday at 7PM.  4-4 regular season result.

10-A/AA - had at least one quarterfinal tonight with East Robertson and Clarksville Academy with the winner to face Hume Fogg.  No information on Lipscomb-East or MLK-Maplewood nor sure how much the remainder of their schedule has been changed.

11-A/AA - Montgomery Central and Grace Christian played a quarterfinal tonight and the semifinal date at Fairview has been moved to Wednesday.  Columbia Academy v Richland (5PM) and Fairview v Montgomery Central (7PM).  CA won 3-1 in the regular season as did Fairview 4-3.  Not sure if they will move the finals to Friday or keep them on Thursday at Fairview as scheduled.

12-A/AA - CPA v Page @ Page on Thursday at 6PM  3-1 CPA in the regular season.

Eurosport Top Ten District Results

1. Houston 16-0.   We will assume that they won their district.

2. Independence   Lost in the final minute to Brentwood, a team that they beat 6-1 a few weeks ago. Lost in the semis, but qualified for their first region tournament as regular season champs.

3. Franklin    Lost 2-0 in the district final to Brentwood. Eliminated

4. Ravenwood  Lost 2-0 to Franklin in the semis. Eliminated

5. Bearden        Lost 1-0 to Maryville in the semis (beat Maryville 4-1 earlier). Eliminated

6. Farragut    Lost 2-1 to Hardin Valley in the semis (beat Hardin Valley 3-1 earlier0. Eliminated

7. Collierville  No info. Will assume that they won district. Did play houston to a 1-0 loss last week.

8. Clarksville  Won district 4-0 over Henry County.

9. Oakland     Plays Siegal in championship Friday Night (I think).

10. Hardin Valley   Won district 1-0 over Maryville.

The second ten faired much better.

I guess the moral to the story is that it is tough to be the favorite.

District 7 & 8 A-AA Championships

District 8.....#9 Murfreesboro Central Magnets Lady Tigers (12-1-2) halt Smith County Owls perfect 14-0 season for their 2nd D8 Championship in a row with a score 3-1

District 7.....D7's regular season champions, the #6 ND Lady Fighting Irish, defeat #3 CCS's Lady Chargers for their fourth consecutive D7 Championship 2-1

Region 4 Semi-final Match-ups

D8 Champions Magnet (12-1-2) will host D7's runner-up CCS (12-6-2) in a rematch of last season R4 semis. After ND sent CCS to Murfreesboro Magnet last season for the R4 semis; the Chargers of CCS squeezes out a 1-0 win and puts an end to Magnets perfect 19-0 season. Who wins the match-up this year?

D7 Champions ND Lady Fighting Irish (7-6-3) will host D8 runner-up Smith County (14-1-0) who will travel to Chattanooga for the first time since 2012 where they confronted the Irish in a R4 match-up. The 17-3-1 Owls had traveled to Chattanooga with a 17-3-1 record and a state record breaker in assist to face the ND. ND wins that game 6-1. Who wins the match-up this year?

would assume the 1& 2 finishers in these R4 games will be facing Boyd and/or Grace Baptist out of R3 for the Sectional. they seem to be the cream on that side.

Great time of year for some soccer

Oakland did indeed advance to the 7-AAA final tonight thanks to three quick goals in the first 10 minutes of their semi-final matchup against Blackman. The game ended 4-1.

But Siegel fell to district "newcomer" Stewarts Creek on kicks, 5-4. Siegel didn't give up a single goal in district play all season and Wed night's semi ended 0-0 after 110 minutes of soccer. This is the first time in 10 or 11 years that Siegel has not advanced to the District final and by extension Region play. But give credit to Stewarts Creek. They came to play and threatened all game long. Multiple shots hit the frame.

It promises to be a fun final tonight between two teams who love to attack.

Yes, great time of the year.  Won't it be nice here in a couple of weeks when all of those pesky public schools will be out of the way so the privates can once again dominate the A/AA public school division.  Why don't those puclic schools go start their own division?  They should get out of the way.

Wait, I just saw where there are already two private school divisions where all of the teams are private.  So, these private schools have somehow found a way to stay in the public school division and win year after year after year.  That must make their fans and coaches proud.  No, if they had any pride they would move to the private divisons or better yet move up to the AAA public school division.  No, wait.  They might not win.  They may have to earn the trophies.

It is disgusting that anyone involved has let this happen.  It is almost as disgusting to be proud of it!

Knox Catholic already tried that move up to AAA a few years back, ....they couldn't make it any further than the quarters and semis, so they moved back down to A-AA in 2013 so they could the 2013 & 2014 State Championships

now; as far as those DI & DII Private schools go....you may find a thread here on T with some real non-biased knowledgable scholars that can help you get a better grasp of how those Privates schools in the DII you are referrin and the Privates schools like the one Boogers is affiliated with at ND are not alike......a little tee pee dwellin friend from Sequatchie Valley and a chain smokin boozer with lots of wit from North Red Bank Mountain are 2 that come to mind that can help you understand

yes; our fans and coaches are very proud and its not because we have found a way to stay w/ the PUBS.....its more of a reflection of your ability to keep us out.....thats the thing bout us here at ND; pride is with us wherever we are and Booger not so sure whether his pride meter fluctuates on a move up or down the T$$AA classification ladder....

is it not because you yourself want a win; that you are trying to kick us out of class.....the answer is yes....hows your pride now, bucknik...are you disgustin yourself for tryin to lessin the playing field for your own advantage....

nope..... absolutely sure there ant no disgust here; being disgusted with winning is for for sheep ......thats Booger Pride

welcome to coachT.......it appears you are goin to be a good fit for the forums.....centzin just a weeeeee bit too much resentment about you; but Booger thinkin that will just have to be OK..... cause history shows us T'ers, that the hatred inside you will metastasize
