Warren Co has several good players . They impressed me . Surprised their  record isn't better . I could see them being really good ..

Can't seem to get on the same page with one another. They have decent talent, and the freshman are gonna be tough if they can adjust quickly.. With so many kids quitting in the off season it's made it hard..

Well I pulled for the under dog twice and they both let me down. Cookeville played Crossville a close game but the better team wins. Took Jackson Co.  over Picket got beat there also. Easy pick with Stone and White, I thought White might beat Warren a little worse, but be honest I thought Warren has some decent talent. Couple of pretty good shooters and a impressive girl off the bench. I was also impressed with #12 for White off the bench with a couple of others and always Luna and Leftwich taking care of business.  I think the chemistry for White  is getting closer but still needs quite a bit of fine tuning. I do wish we ran more plays and less bombs away. We don't seem to be good enough behind the arc for everybody to be launching the long ball. Just my opinion.

agree with you about the long ball . Everybody fires at will . Offense not very well schooled as of yet .

Cumberland Co press finally got to Cookeville in 4th quarter . Hard to handle for 4 periods . Beat  their press and you can beat them .

Rough Night for District 6AAA. Rhea loses to a weak Signal Mnt team by 6. Stone Memorial gets beat at home by 11 against Livingston. And Cumberland Co. gets hammered by 23 @ Blackman.

6aaa weak except for mainly Cumberland Co . Even though they played Blackman decent  the first time , don't have any chance to beat the Murfressboro teams  .

Warriorettes will finish 2nd in district ...stickin with my pre-season predicton..

I hope your'e right . Got us 3 or 4 right now . Got to learn to control 3 point shooters . First one to get the ball on offense throws up a 3 pointer . Some are good shots , most are not . A good pass is better than a bad shot . Time will tell .

I wasn't able to see the girls game, but I read in the paper that the "heat " in the gym got to Cookeville?  It was warm, but I didn't think it was that warm.   Either way, apparently CHS girls are able to play with anybody in the district.

It probably was hot. It was VERY hot in White County's gym. They even mentioned it on the radio.

All gyms were hot due to the  weather . Anybody know Sonic Shootout times of games ?
