This really should not be a surprise to anyone following A/AA soccer.  Both the boys and girls programs at White House and White House Heritage (as we saw tonight) are excellent programs.  It's unfortunate that geography dictates that only 2 of the 4 teams in the middle Tennessee quad will get a trip to Murfreesboro.  The Page v White House match sounds like it was great.  I know our match against WH-H was excellent.

Just Wow! What an amazing game Between Page and WH! Hats off to WH and their young studs. They are a great squad and could be the Public School we have been waiting for if Page doesn't beat them to it. This was probably the most gut check time game, up and down game, and passionate game I have seen in high school girls soccer. Both teams played hard and either could have won. Page scored in the first minute and WH came pounding back with 3 goals in the first half. Page came back out in the second half with their heads back in the game and scored two with the last one being with 3 minutes left. Then in the penalties you had two freshmen keepers going head to head. WH keeper is a great keeper and will be so difficult to score on in the next 3 years. The keeper for Page stopped the first two penalties and Page won 4-1 on PKs. Every player on both teams left it all on the field. Great job girls!

It was great catching up with the WH coach, he is doing a great job out there!

Thought that would be a great game. That young WH team is going to have some great battles with CPA. CPA has an 8th grade GK that is the #1 ODP keeper in the state with multiple div 1 state championships. Shes as athletic and tough as any keeper you'll see at that age. The div 1 travel parents/coaches/players at WH know who she is too.

This game will be a measuring stick for both these teams the next several years. I spoke with a WH parent earlierand he said they just couldn't hang on but the kids played great. I wish WH all the best.

    • I’m not familiar with Metro. Maybe someone who is will chime in. I’ve seen them shuffled in small systems, so it shouldn’t be a problem at all in Metro, if they do want him in another building.
    • Ah, more Coach Ham bashing. There seems to be a club, so tell us, are you the VP, Chairman?  From the stories I've heard from his past players themselves Coach Ham is one of a kind and has literally worked himself to the bone year after year at every coaching stop. His legacy isn't Ws and Ls.  So give it a rest. It may be old school cliché, but could you even walk a mile in his shoes? The man has retired from coaching, let him be. Even on these measily message boards.
    • Evans-Collins got a lot of play over the years.  Several junior high teams and the youth leagues played there in my day.
    • Nick Boykin of Riverdale Hs and Sunkist Kids WC will wrestle in the Olympic Trials finals tomorrow against Joe Rau. Winner goes to Tokyo!
    • Yeah, I’ve seen it cause issues too. I read in a newspaper that he was just going to teach, so I assumed it was at CRHS. Maybe I misunderstood. Are there any guys on his staff ready to take it over?
