District 9-A

My personal opinion is that if you are a parent of a player on the team you shouldn't publicly place blame on the other players on that team. Community has dominated everyone in the paint. Maybe, just maybe they have more talent there than other teams.....no ones fault, no bad guard play. They are just the better team. Some teams are better than others and when that is true, it's not the refs fault, it's not the players fault.

Ok so you do agree that Moore needs to play better in the post. Who said I was a parent? Do you see me bragging on a particular player. You! Would that make it so? Also I just stated an obvious game stat that is undeniable. So Moore should just give it to Community because they are more talented down low? Just about any coach will tell you that rebounding is about heart and hustle not talent. Others have seen my view as a fair assessment, and I have mentioned no names. I just stated the scenario that would have to play out for Moore to win a game. If that has offended you I am sorry, but really that's what these boards are about discussion. Please don't get your feathers ruffled. I will state it again Moore will need 10 to 15 points down low to have a chance at beating Community, which has not happened in the last couple of years.

Moore vs Huntland and Community vs MTCS - These games could have huge implications as far as getting positioned for the district tournament. I think Moore has trouble matching up to Huntland. Can they get it done this year? Will MTCS be able to score enough points against Community? MTCS was the last district opponent to beat Community I believe, but they need a good night behind the arc to pull it off. How do you guys see these important games going?

Wonder what this district would be like if Eagleville had even an average coach. A lot of talent being used wrong in every way.

Your right. I wonder what it would be like if the had an average coach. They would be at the bottom. Coach Lynch does a great job and has that team headed in the right direction. I'm sure you are a upset parent with your child not getting enough playing time, is usually how that works. Keep it up Lynch.

    • I think the OC is a guy the he brought from Fulton with him. I am not sure though. I have heard a lot of conflicting information. It seems like a couple of coaches that he hired have since been let go.

    • If someone needed their grades pumped up surley it would have to be for someone needing it to get to another level. If your intending on going to work right after high school it wouldn't matter. Why would someone in their right mind think if they screwed it up in high school that their ready for college. It has to be for an athlete to get them over the fence to get in and from that point the school their going to will cheat them through the rest of the way for their athletic skills just like the rest.
    • The new school will be on that road behind Home Depot next to a church. I'm wondering if this could take from Greenback or could it be the end of Greenback, they only have 200 students.
    • Yeah it will take the county kids in that area that were going to lenior city. They will move down to 4a I think
