BCsportsfan
I don't see a 21 point loss. Anytime there is rumor of the opposing team's D being more physical, Coach Martin takes the challenge by slamming running play after running play up the middle. Sometimes, the opposing team with all their D1 players (say Peachtree Ridge) look like they've lost after one drive because they just had their #### handed to them. No way that I'd predict the same against a great program like Alcoa, but I think the challenge will be there. I've slept since last year, but wasn't that the way we scored on the first drive last year? I see a low scoring game again. Alcoa likes to do the same proving they are more physical. I think Omer #45 will be last year's Hockaday. Of course I hope we win, but either team could by a small margin. If there are big plays, I think we'll see CPA executing them (long pass or return). Bottom line, I think it'll be another very good game to watch. To me, football is best at the high school level. Safety to all that travel and play! This is no where close to the defense CPA has seen from Alcoa in 2013 and 2014. Take the best teams Alcoa has faced, Maryville, CAK, twice and ND. 20 points, 7 points, 0 points, and 2 points. In those 4 games. 29/4 = 7.25 ppg. Nobody has come close to holding Maryville to less than 21 points. The question is....can CPA hold Alcoa's offense to less than 14 points? TECHY
I think CPA will struggle to move the ball against Alcoa the didn't move it very well against Liberty had 1 long pass the rest was minimal. Liberty could move the ball against their D we had trouble keeping our footing and we couldn't punch it in in the red zone.

The Liberty players really struggled with footing on that field. It really negated a lot of their speed.

RonMexico3
Yea! I even live in Maryville! Just like 50% of Acloa's team. They couldn't make the big brother squad so they settled for Alcoa.

Booger
well to no suprise; it took 3 days to finally get a post or 2 on this thread of true football chat.....no suprise with the Goon bosses involved and also see all the Alcoee opposition beat down in a corner.......embarrissin....got Gerry boycottin the game; soccer mom submissed to makin compliments to the Goons; and LBD tryin to gamble away T-names....even if you won the bet LBD and a name gone; theyre just like gremlins....a little water and you got 2 more goons.....(bet your donkey's gainst their sheep) ...now that Booger is patched up and back from lickin his wounds from the loss Friday..... gonna educate all on how this little squabble on the plattoe tween the Presbyterians and Alcoee is gonna go down......but first let get sumthin clear....let it be known that that meetin the other night with the Goon Bosses cost Booger 100 bucks, free autographs and a great reputation....it was against the Will of Booger......had to go up off the field pre-game and hand out a 20 to each one of em just to have them stop chanting Booger thru those cheerleader things......had to get a referee escort thru their stands back to the Irish sidelines....traumatizin...... sure robjim had to do sumthin similar one time Down and Dirty w Booger.... ......CPA better have sum improvement over last year on that O-line; this Alcoee D line is no joke and a bit better than last year with a better function LB core (Stronger and More Physical).....if CPA is to throw it; he better be prepared to do it in a big hurry w/out mistakes...remember; CAK and ND like throw it too Dont no if CPA's defense is as good as the Irish defense; it will need to be at least as good as ND to stay in it....Alcoee is not that good offensively....or shall it be said, that was ND's out if we coulda stayed on the field with the Alcoee defense... for those on here that truly no anything bout FB...... the Tornadoes only had 150 total yds of offense the other night against the Irish D..... only 55 total rushin yds in 33 attempts.....think we stuffed them 17 plays inside the 10.....with that kinda defensive show by the Irish, we shoulda been all in the game....we were not... Aloee thumps the stew outta the Irish to a tune of 42-2 with a defense.....never seen one go down quirt like that......if ND is to ever get thru Knoxville; the Irish better find a better weight trainin program and enough men in the trenches to field a O-line and a seperate D-line.....the CPA offense better be bigger and more physical than last year...and wear 2 chinstraps... you can smoke most of watcha just read Booger just sayin
